Great goal from Emerson but he’s had a mare other than that. Skinned twice and slowed possession down too much via his lack of technical ability. Son is carrying on last season and preseason’s form. Vicario just isn’t convincing for me. Very concerned about him long term. We haven’t gotten Richarlison into the game at all. Bissouma and Maddison impressive.
He's a ****ing clown, which probably shouldn't be a surprise. That Maddison "foul" when he was clear through on goal was a joke. Booked three of our players for nothing, too. VAR can **** off as well.
Watching it back, I think Vicario actually saves their second goal but Micky accidentally diverts it away from his dive.
To paraphrase Pete Townshend - 'Meet the New Spurs - Same as the Old Spurs'! Some good, some bad, some downright awful, and that was just Emerson Royal. The front 3 have offered nothing, but credit Brentford for that to a certain extent. I like the look of Udogie and Van De Ven. Maddison has done OK. Everyone else has been ok but not great. Have to remember that they scored from a very soft penalty and a lucky deflection. Can see this being the first of many 7 goal thrillers for us this season.
