This really boils my piss. If you're so **** in the EPL that you end up relegated, refusing it play in the league below just makes it 10 times worse. Entitled egotistical pricks every one of them. Same for our lot. YOU got relegated and took the club with you not the other way around. Suck it up buttercup, be better and earn your place back in the league above.

I agree with you. This is just poor and sets a bad example to young players and young people in general. There will be times when you have to work at something you don’t like while you wait for the right thing to come along. You cannot just down tools.

 

At the end of last season, Leeds captain Liam Cooper, said, "If you don't want to play for Leeds, you can f*ck off", to all the Leeds players.

Obviously the fans loved it, but it's 2023, not 1993. There are so many poor widdle egos in the dressing room now, that that sort of thing is only going to cause toxicity.

 

Apparently Victor Orta told them exactly the same in contract form.

 

It’s more than just egos though. It’s just not how things work anymore. Look at us - we have our club captain who came through the academy. Even he didn’t want to stay and play for us. If we took that stance we would have hardly any players

Sinisterra refused to play yesterday, too, by the sounds of it.

 

Leeds are royally ****ed, Gotta feel for the decent fans.

 

Whilst we can speculate that they are doing the same thing, we don’t actually know. Leeds came out and gave a statement about Gnonto yesterday so it is actually confirmed.

 

Sounds like Harrison will be yet another loan by Leeds, rather than a sale (albeit seemingly with an option or obligation to buy, presumably dependent on whether Everton survive this season).

All these loans really can't be helping their transfer budget too much.

 

Bet that went down well. Leeds or *insert any club outside top 4/5* only attraction is being in the PL. The vast majority of players couldn’t care less if it was Leeds/Saints/Brentford etc they were playing for as long as the money is right and the club is in the PL.

Still at least it sounds like the players took his comments on board as loads have left
