After 1,547 days (when in League Two), Bury FC return to Gigg Lane to play Glossop tomorrow in the North West Counties League Premier Division (season opener). This is the 9th tier.
They have already sold 4,000 tickets in advance of the game.
Forget the sh***y Saudis, this is what football is really about. Their club has been in the wilderness for almost 5 years, but their fans have never given up - and with support like that, they won’t be in the 9th tier too long
