I think he's more pissed off with the Lavia stuff than Caicedo. He's one of many that think we should have "just paid the extra £5m" without thinking about what could have happened with negotiations beforehand, that we might have already offered a lot more than we value him at and we usually do deals on the quiet so what else could be happening.

Yeah you probably should have, just like we could have all avoided this Caicedo madness if we had just met Brightons valuation a month ago instead of lowballing them.
They came out and said it was £100m minimum a month ago, and all thats happened is we have ended up having to pay another £10m probably because we stalled.
