With similar respect I'll answer how I want. Whatever you're thinking, saying "joke of a club" just comes across as a childish rant. It's disappointing, and it hasn't worked out the way we wanted so far, but there's nothing ridiculous about the way we went about it. We made an offer for a player, the other club accepted that offer but the player changed his mind and decided he didn't want the move. Life's like that, we just have to get over it.
Well we don't know that yet. So far its an agent potentially talking and if the player really didn't want the move it'd be all over by now. At the start of the year he 'Really wanted' a move to Arsenal.

I aint a Liverpool fan, but have to say, Sucky, thats harsh. Your club hasnt done anything wrong, they offered to buy a player and he said "No thanks" whats the big deal. It would be more jokey if we dont get him because we have spent weeks and months agreeing a deal with the player and have made 4 bids for him, and have had terms agreed for like 3 weeks now. By all accounts Liverpool had had no contact with Caicedo till 48 hours ago, you shot your shot and it (probably at least) looks like it hasnt worked out Worth a try. The Lavia one is a bit more silly, because you probably should have just met Southampton's valuation a week ago and wrapped it up, much like us with Caicedo.
I think LFC wanted Tchouameni as the number 1 target. Once mbappe was confirmed to stay at PSG, we moved onto caicedo, and spotted a slight opportunity to take advantage of the deal.

I think he's more pissed off with the Lavia stuff than Caicedo. He's one of many that think we should have "just paid the extra £5m" without thinking about what could have happened with negotiations beforehand, that we might have already offered a lot more than we value him at and we usually do deals on the quiet so what else could be happening. It's not Liverpool releasing snippets to the media so ask yourself where it's coming from, and why? what's the agenda? Edit; unless, of course, he believes the BS line that FSG are pretending to offer big money with no intention of actually spending it

The Caicedo deal isnt the joke The so called rebuild is. We replaced 4 broken legs with 4 working ones and lost about 8 more legs.
