11 on the pitch? You sure? Don't think I heard Dozzells name whole of 2nd half, thought he'd been subbed!
What a night in Sydney. It's 2:11am and I can't get to sleep. But it's a happy insomnia. And Sunday will feel even better after that win. Thank you GA and the team for a marvelous weekend. Can't wait 'til next Saturday, our first home game. Hope we keep up the intensity against a formidable Ipswich (ladder leaders). C'mon you magnificent RRRs!
Beeb has us at 14. Don't drop us two places Wheresy. We fought hard for that position. When I say 'we', of course I mean the players and the Gaffer, ...and all the away supporters. Shouldn't forget them.
Welsh ‘girl’ travelling to Torbay for you tonight Dev - no need to worry about the elastic it’ll be around her heels
Brilliant, and a totally unexpected surprise. If Armstrong keeps this up we can sell him to Chelsea at Christmas.
I was predicting a 3-0 defeat. What do I know! Hopefully the Watford game made the players reflect on themselves. Well done to the players and really chuffed for Ainsworth. Comes across as a decent person and doesn’t deserve the personal attacks he has been receiving irrespective of what anybody thinks of his managerial ability.
Unfortunately, every game is an away game for me R4ever. Then again every win is sweet, but even sweeter when very few expect it. QPR
Sorry Wheresy, you're right. Page hadn't refreshed. Still basking in the game's live text. Hopefully next week we'll be seeing a rise in the standings.
A great result, I always said GA was a tactical genius A big shout out to Jeff for his pre-match positivity when all-around him were predicting the End of Days - cheers Jeff, raising a a single malt to you son
Great win! All of the starting eleven played well. Cook and Fox looked good at the heart of our defence. Smyth was superb going forward and always looking at taking on and going past their defenders. But Armstrong was MOTM for me, a well taken goal and a superb assist. Although we had our backs to the wall when Smyth and Armstrong went off and we let the goal in, it was good to see that we had the character to see the game out. Another plus is that it was good to see Rayan Kolli get on the bench today. The 18 year old Hounslow born Algerian is going to be the new Taarabt ( without the sulking.) He has the lot, he's graceful on the ball and glides past players, he can pass the ball very well and boy can he finish. I can't wait to see him get going. The only caveat is that he hasn't played any men's football, but I still think he's got the skill and attitude to make it. He's been with us since he was 8 years old. He turned up with his mates for a laugh at a QPR development centre. They signed him up straight away when they saw how much talent he had. please log in to view this image
So Cook and Fox added some stability. I'm hoping Colback adds some grit as well If we can keep the injuries to a minimum and some self belief grows in the team we might prove the critics wrong That said, one swallow doesn't make a summer but tonight I am v pleased Even the girlfriend - who has zero idea about football but now blighted by QPR - couldn't believe a win away
