I always like us to win at home but sometimes you just have to appreciate a crazy and entertaining match. For those interested, my knob head mate who travelled to Norfolk to watch the game, got a ticket for the Ipswich Stoke game at the away end only to see them lose 2-0.
Much more positive this week than last week Even just make 1 or 2 defensive howlers and we win that game pretty comfortably. Scored 4 and probably should’ve had a couple more if we had Norwich level of finishing Surely the defence can’t be that **** every week so if this is a sign of things to come then we should be right in the mix at the end of the season
The fact that we got two penalties means we must have been doing more attacking in their area than previously. 69% possession and 4 goals. That’s not my Saints. My Saints don’t do goal fests and come backs.
Hmm, almost cost a goal from his freekick spill - saved by offside. I want to stick with him as I think he will come good, but we are making enough errors as it is this season.

I thought we’d learn a lot about the team from today. Safe to say I have learnt absolutely **** all. Very very promising going forward but suicidal at the back. Which I guess is progress from being **** at both ends. Going to be a fun season. I still think we have picked a good manager. Really like him, subs were sensible and positive and he’s bringing the confidence out in the side. There is a chance we could really click under him
I will enjoy watching PL games on Match of The Day tonight, knowing Saints won't be playing on there and losing
Yeah after thinking we were pretty **** last week with the keep ball don’t do anything with it this week we looked much more threatening. Could be another week working with the team on the training ground, could just be Norwich werent as defensive as Sheff Weds, but whatever it was was a big improvement. Defence was a shambles today, and based on Swansea fan opinions we will see more shambles because of Martins system but don’t think you can blame any of the goals today on that
