Better team but not up to speed yet. Playing OK but very slow and deliberate just relying on Clarke and Roberts at the minute.
Need to quicken the passes and like you say buy a bloody centre forward

Yep, we have learnt that Dack is not a CF..

But <doh> didn't we know that already?

Dack looks like he's been there for ages, he'll be hard to drop imo.

Neil and Jobe need to impose themselves on the game more. Thats why Pritchard makes such a difference when he comes on he starts looking for the ball wants to change the game. Neil too often is happy to sit back and let things happen. He has the talent could be a world beater but sometimes games pass him by.

Guess it’s about opinions, I like the way he carries the ball forward and how he isn’t scared of a tackle.

Hopefully he'll play the Paul Stewart role Reidy had him in... but with a few more goals

Said as soon as he signed he’s not come here to sit on the bench if he’s fit, he’s been criminally underrated by a lot of our fans. Unfortunately make it harder for Pritchard to get into the team regularly unless Dack plays as the 9 with Pritchard behind. This is why I don’t understand starting with the midfield 3 that we currently are, they’re all quite physical players and none of them look to yet have the quality to dictate from midfield.

Thank heavens it's not just me.

I've watched him all this half and he has a habit of making easy passes then standing back, in space, to be available again. It makes him look involved but he doesn't pass and run forward or commit a defender. He stands well off which means he's virtually marking himself.

He's a fabulous footballer just missing that drive I'm still hopeful TM can sort him out

    As a midfielder, yes.

I want him to work out as he was Mowbray's choice

I’ll get abuse for saying it but I think we’d be a better team with a creative midfielder alongside Ekwah and Bellingham.

I remember when he'd let balls go across his body and fire a shot on target, dunno where that's gone ...

... we need more long range shots as Ekwah tries, we're passing into a crowded box too often imo.

If I'm generous I would say that he is being asked to play in a defensive midfield role that he's not really got used too, but feels as though he must do what the coach asks him to do for the good of the team, even though it may not be his natural game.
    Opinions eh

Edit Mowbray must be happy with what he does as he keeps picking him in that role. Be interesting to see what happens when we have a proper CDM player available

We’ve played well but aye, same as per. A proper striker and we’d be ahead with the possession we’ve had.

Is he though? He was playing around the edge of the Ipswich box loads last game.

Perhaps because they were sitting deep and he and Ekwah appeared to be changing roles at times during the game. But, what do I know.
