I think the expression is "I wouldn't let the jockey ride my bike"... if it had had one it would have won. I backed it too..
Talking of poor rides.Luke Morris needs to hang his head in shame for the piss poor position he got True Legend in to finish 2nd. The horse was full of running, all dressed up with nowhere to go...Stick that one in the notebooks for next time out, decent jockey on it and it'll win pulling a cart!!! Fast forward to the 7.35 Bath and Hollie Doyle on 'Big Jimbo'...Masterclass!!
Good Earth 250/1 on Betfair... and 17/1 top 5 .... my Dad asked me to back that for him before I read SW3 postings... an omen perhaps...
VIP Two from Ste. 2050 Chelmsford- Wadacre Gomez 8/1 EW 0.5 points - 4 paid Looks slightly over priced here Gomez at 8s who got off the mark at the third attempt in a class 4 over 1m 2f at Newcastle, lesser efforts at Haydock & Redcar after when never involved but he ran reasonably well back from a short break to finish third of 12 over course and distance last month and with his mark unchanged and him dropping back down in class I think a repeat of his last effort should see him go close at an eachway price. 1505 Ffos Las- Miami Heat 7/1 EW - 0.5 points - 3 paid Amo racing send two out today both trained by Dominic Ffrench Davies so I think its interesting Kevin stott comes here where he was booked for the one ride (must of picked another up over night) with there other runner at a shorter price at Chelmsford being ridden by Buick. Only had a couple of runs so not to much to go on but he's shown enough in them to think he'd have chance here dropping down two classes and this colt cost £125,000 at the breeze ups, he's got the advantage of experience under his belt with a few of these being newcomers and although one of them could be a decent one I think with eachway value on offer it's worth sticking with one who's already got a couple races under him.
VIP Wednesday Struggling to find bets for today guys myself. I’m trying this one again as think the horse has potential and this is slightly easier race. Small 0.5 EW on POLLY THE ROCKET 1 point double Pontefract. Ryan Moore is on the fav and goes to Pontefract for only two rides - POINT GIVEN 3.20 in same race as polly here at evens and then the odds on fav in the 2.50 ROYAL ZABEEL. The double pays just over 2/1 so I’ve had a point on that. He should be winning both races but famous last words. He has a 30%+ strike rate here and has only rode 30 horses here in the past 5 years so a rare treat for Pontefract to see the champ jockey on course today I’ll see what else I can find I do have two trackers for tonight but need to research those races before deciding whether to pull the trigger ✅
VIP Wednesday Sorry for late message guys but Stes just sent me these two for tomorrow ! 0.5 EW wins - small bets big prices ✅ 1620 Pontefract- PERFECT SWISS 10/1 EW Course winner Tele Red is going for the hatrick here with 7lb claimer Sam Fielden jumping back on board who knows the horse well but Perfect Swiss has a very decent record at this track with two wins and three places over course and distance from 8 vists here and returns 3lb lower than for the last of those wins, been running reasonably well this year without getting his head infront and he had excuses lto when short of room but he comes here off the same mark at a course he clearly likes in decent enough form to be having a eachway on at 10/1 2100 kempton- SMART CHAMPION 22/1 EW Tricky race this but smart champion is one that could out run his odds here, he's one of only two course and distance winners in the field with the other being the favourite Pons Aleius who he beat over CD on his latest win back in September although Aleius did reverse that form here two starts ago when finishing 7th with are selection back in 11th but champion is on slightly better terms here and at a much bigger price albeit not in as good form, returning from 147 days off a bit of a concern as is his slow starts but I think if he jumps well then there's every chance he can go close off this mark and Daniel Muscutt riding for the first times quite interesting who's only ridden for this yard 4 times in the past 12 months picking up a win and a place with a overall record of 4 wins & 7 places from just 27 rides, worth a eachway in a open looking race with Arcadian Friend another interesting runner if he runs, was going to tip him today but was to short, up 5lb with no amateur onboard this time but one to keep an eye on.
Tomorrow 15:55 Ascot (Shergar Cup Day)... LIKE A TIGER... just watched the Racing Post preview show and both the tipsters napped it saying it desperately needs 1m 4f and soft ground, it gets both, with the added bonus of Saffie Osborne doing the steering. 13/2 with Bet 365. Called my pal with a share in the yard and he says tomorrow should be the day...
1:40 pm Curragh - Diego Velazquez 10/11 (4 Points) 2:03 pm Redcar - Miss Willows 25/1 Each Way(1 Point)
VIP TIPS ✅️ Few more from Ste guys shorter prices as I can’t find many I like short priced today!!! 1845 Lingfield- wonderwall 9/4 - 1 point win Lightly raced wonderwall has only had 10 career starts which has included graded bumpers, listed hurdles & a grade 2 novice chase but he held his own on his first start on the flat two starts ago when finishing runner up behind the odds on Haggas horse Star Ahoy and the one in third won nto, went off at 5/2 for his next start again filling the runner up spot at Doncaster 7 days ago and with the way he's finished them two starts you'd think this step up in trip will be a real plus, ground shouldn't be an issue and Havlin is a interesting jockey booking who's only ridden for this yard three times before (placed on one) and is on board this rather than the Gosdens favourite in this although I think Fallon does ride for them owners often not 100%. 1525 Curragh- cammanche falls 2/1 - 1 point win Plenty with course and distance form in the field but the obvious one that stands out most is Michael Dodds runner Cammanche Falls who won on his only visit over there two starts ago when winning in listed company at 5/4 favourite with the 5th in that winning 2 of his next 3 starts (most of the others haven't ran since) and comes here on the back of a group 3 win at Newbury in search of the hatrick and I think he has a solid chance of getting it.
