I thought I had posted this yesterday evening, when I wrote it. Somehow I failed to do so..... and I was about to post a request that the league should be completed right now, with Man City having won 3-0 and Arsenal leading 2-0. So from potential delirium, I crash to total opprobrium! Old age is sometimes no fun at all.

Thank you ma'am. Trust you're your usual sprightly self? xxx I've missed this group of lovely people, too. Why do we need cheering up? What happened yesterday????? No, I haven't really forgotten! But I'm simply not upset about it - not at all like I felt when we said goodbye to previous heroes, such as Hoddle and Bale. He stayed a lot longer than I'd feared. He's done the decent thing and not gone to one of the PL clubs with dodgy financial sources. And at least the new manager doesn't have to build a team around him. Maybe we'll meet him again in the CL Final? Hope so - he doesn't have a brilliant record in finals! (The only flaw in his stats.) (And he was selected when he should not have been, to tell the truth.) THFC is bigger than HK - ultimately, it's the club I follow, not individual players. COYS!!!
