It’s an away day at Russell Martin’s Southampton next up for Norwich. Both teams enjoyed 2-1 victories in the first round to get their season’s up and running. This game will provide a firmer test for both sides though and a good chance for Norwich to test their credentials against one of the favourites to return to the PL. Southampton have managed to keep most of their side together with only Tino Livramento and Mohammed Salisu departing St. Mary’s. At time of writing there is still chat about Chelsea coming in for Romeo Lavia and other rumours of potential moves for Nathan Tella, Will Smallbone and skipper James Ward-Prowse causing a selection headache for the Norfolk Cafu. It turns out our own Max Aarons was said to be on the Saints inbound radar too only for their south coast rivals Bournemouth to nip in and gazump them. Norwich fans will be looking for more of the same from the players following an entertaining win over Hull that heralded the official “arrival” of Jonathan Rowe and one of the best team performances we’ve seen at Carrow Road for too long. A good confidence boost ahead of one of the hardest games on paper this season. Safe journey to those Yellows making the trip down south. OTBC EDIT: Some team news... According to DW, "Everyone is available, the same squad as last weekend plus Płacheta who was ill. Lungi has visited a specialist and now we'll expect him back after the September international break. Borja and JT could be back in team training for the international break too, we'll need to see in the next two weeks."
Will be interesting to see how thw loss of JWP affects the saints, hopefully we can use it to our advantage
Great thread Hairy! Ward-Prowse is certainly the biggest loss they have suffered as he was also the captain. We won't have 28 shots this time so we need to make our chances count.

Norwich need to keep hold of the ball for longer. Giving it away far too quickly, letting Saints build up pressure Oh dear 1-1 and a penalty against us
