Well thats up to Brighton, not you. All of this is moot, because none of you know whether Caicedo is REFUSING to go to Liverpool, or if he would just PREFER to go to Chelsea. Like if Chelsea dropped out now, would he say **** it and stay at Brighton, or go to Liverpool? He has a contract so Brighton cannot make him leave against his will. My feeling is he wants Chelsea but will take Liverpool, and Liverpool know this, and thats why they haven't withdrawn their bid. Do Chelsea still want him now? Because if so WTF haven't we upped our bid?
And, for that matter, Chelsea don't have to stand by their offer if and when - hopefully soon - we walk away, and can go back again with a lower offer.
He will move if there is no other offer on the table. The kid just wants to move. You’re getting confused with Caicedo preferring a move to Chelsea Vs him being disgusted with LFC and hating the club and never wanting to come
He's a human bieng not an item at an auction. His club were willing to accept the money you offered but he wasn't willing to make the move so you are out of it.
Yes, like I said, no one knows whether he is preferring Chelsea, or totally snubbing Liverpool 100%. I dont see why he would.
Well, it is. Strictly speaking, the buying club shouldn't talk to the player until the selling club grants permission to do so. Obviously, a quick check to make sure the player would be interested wouldn't go amiss but considering he reportedly got on a chopper before deciding he only wanted to go to Chelsea suggests he may have considered joining a Liverpool before taking that action.
Why would you up your bid if he is refusing to go to Liverpool? It now comes down to how much Brighton want to mover him out or make money from him.
About as close as your are mate so can only go off what main stream are saying. Do you have a sevret better source?
lol bless you’re really not getting it. You’re making is sound that caicedo would not come to LFC. He has a preference for Chelsea - meaning if they don’t put in a suitable bid, then he’ll join LFC. if Chelsea up their bid, then Brighton are likely to accept it and therefore he will join there the question is How long will Brighton wait for Chelsea to bid …
God, I hope you're wrong. This whole episode is humiliating enough without having our record transfer fee player with us only because his dream move fell through. I think Liverpool are only hanging on in a mixture of forlorn hopelessness and twisted spite. And now we've lost Lavia too. Just cannot believe we put a bid in of that size without checking the player and his agents out. Amateur hour.
Who else will take him now, Bisc? He wants to go to Chelsea. Just Chelsea. But not Liverpool. And Liverpool were the only other bidders.
Is your main source Fabriano Romano? A guy that is well known to have been wrong on more than one occasion when it comes to caicedo and Brighton… ‘here we go to arsenal’. He’s a mouth piece for the agents, he knows about as much as anyone else. Given caicedo hasn’t actually said anything, then the only person that knows if he would be willing to move is himself and not what a journalist who doesnt actually have anything riding on being accurate says. Like bod says, no one knows if he doesn’t want to go to lfc, or would just prefer chelsea because of the chats they’ve had with his agent. If he really doesn’t want to go to lfc then he won’t go. Everyone will soon find out and then chelsea will prob be given chance to match the bid (or pay extra for being ****s) and prove they do want him. If they don’t do that, then he’ll stay at Brighton.
If he doesn’t want to go to lfc and chelsea don’t bid then yeah. Don’t think they’re gonna sack him so not many other options is there.
