This is the most I’ve laughed whilst losing a good player.

Perhaps, but it wouldn't surprise me if Chelsea keep on upping the bid. Just to rub salt into Klopps wound. Lol

It's just so brilliant how this has gone tbh, and Liverpool have sold Fabinho and Hendo without a replacement. I can see Chelsea smashing them on Sunday.

Sounds like Chelsea are pissed Liverpool won't withdraw their Caicedo bid which is costing them 10million so in retaliation have bid 55mill for Lavia! Rage bid!

Apparently they just bid £115 for Caicedo.

It’s actually Lavia I feel sorry for in all this.

I would love to see them royally screw this up, but if they think that Lavia is only worth £47m and Caicedo some ridiculous amount ie double I would love Saints to come back and say you can have Lavia for £60m. Obviously I would prefer them in desperation to bid that without effecting Lavia

You put your best bid in, your best bid out, do a bit of back tracking and balls it all about. You couldn’t make it up. Somebody has decided the transfer window is too serious, needs a dash of comedy.

Poch loves him some double-pivot, and while I'm not sure of the sensibility of spending £170m on the pair of them, Lavia + Caicedo would make for one hell of a sturdy, fluid base for their lineup.

Me too, which would suggest Lavia not first starter.

I'd rate him more as a 6, but you could probably do some fun things with the three of them together from time to time. All very good runners through midfield even if none are really creative maestros.
