Seriously? Is he trying to make us believe that Cook and Colback were his master plan after all, that we couldn't even attempt to play football without these 2?? **** me, the blokes just playing for time. What a tool

I presume it means they'd make us more secure and therefore more chance to play.
It comes across as though he's making it up as he goes along.

I feel for him, he's properly floundering, one game in and everything is shot to pieces.

Maybe he’s a master tactician after all - who knew?

Maybe these 2 players are better at making traps, whatever traps are in football!!

I am sad to say that I'm filled with dread on this Cardiff game. It is with some remorse that the current trainer will just have to go, regardless of the negative effect it will have on the club's awful financial situation. I just think the poor guy hasn't a clue on what to do next. Please prove me wrong.

If GA doesn’t start with Armstrong, I’m done with him.

I would be very surprised if he doesn't.

We can only hope his name is drawn from the selection tombola.

Presumably it would be 4-4-2 if he starts Armstrong.
Who knows what he'll come up with?

With a defence as strong as wet tissue paper, I’m convinced our best and only hope is to keep the ball away from our goal by keeping the oppo occupied at the other end of the pitch. You would think Armstrong and the Dykes who plays for Scotland would be a headache for most teams.
So if I see Kelman on the team sheet tomorrow instead of Armstrong, I’ll want Ainsworth gone

I honestly don't think he has anything else in his locker. I live in hope that he does and I am desperate for him to succeed. Listening to some of his interviews just bamboozles me.
Apparently we tried something last Saturday and it didn't work, he will learn from it. He tried the same thing whilst at Wycombe for a bit and in his caretaker role at QPR and it also didn't work but he will learn from it. Sounds like a ****ing slow learner.

Yeah that would be strange. When Gaz quotes that the players give everything, when clearly you can see they aren't, yet Armstrong totally gives everything and we can clearly see that he does, it beggars belief that he doesn't start in the eleven. The kid is not learning anything coming on to the pitch 4-0 down apart from that his manager doesn't rate him.
