Not to worried about tomorrow, the last 3 games were just to trick the opposition.
Plus they have less strikers than us <laugh>
    Easy win<ok><ok> - 0

    <applause> RTB

RTB, you have already made the point about our away form being better than home form. I will cling onto that vibe.

No Batth? Is he off to climates new?

    Let's presume a win.

    Great post RTB :)
Don’t know the fuss is all about losing against Ipswich. Sh*t happens and we are just three points off top. Long way to go yet. Crewe game just comes with the territory when you don’t field full strength team. Danny Baath and Stewart if they go I wish them well but they’re not bigger than our club. Everyone loves a drama and crisis but I don’t see one. Just focus on getting something out tomorrow and we all move on. Just time to the let the club do it’s business and see where everything ends up when transfer window closes. Going for 2 - 1 to the lads tomorrow. Clarke has to score there and young Hemir. HTL!!!!!

A brilliant match day thread again RTB. Thank You for your efforts.

First half against Ipswich, we knocked the ball around beautifully at times. Second half for some strange reason, we didn't decide to play until we went down to 10. We've seen in close season how good Hemir is in the air, let's get some crosses in and play to his strengths while he goes through the learning process. It's also important to get players around him for the knock downs/flick on's. For that reason, I would start with Dack and bring Pritch on later when their defence starts to tire.

I'm as upbeat today as I was this time last week, because history shows that we will bring in the right sort of loan players to make a difference. In the meantime, we've got the vast majority of the squad who ended the season so well, so there's plenty of reason for optimism that we will get 3 points tomorrow. 2-1 to the Lads. Hemir and Clarke (and TC's wallet is £5 lighter!) <laugh>

Some decent stuff in there from Mowbray.

The forward area is looking good with Dack, Clarke and Roberts.

Hemir is still settling into the culture and other things. All the simple stuff that we take for granted like finding somewhere to live, getting a car, where the supermarket is, where to go to eat, etc. Says that he needs to improve his fitness as players are expected to run and work hard, be that in midfield, full back or up front. He is a humble lad, agrees that he needs to work on fitness and listens to the coaches.

Says that he was told we were in the top 6 of 'expected goals' after the first weekend of the season but it doesn't matter as we only scored one.

Edit - He thinks we showed last season that we can play without a recognised number 9. He does want more options so that it gives us the opportunity to play in different ways, whether it is through a central number 9, or two wide strikers that run the channels or play with a false number 9. Somewhere down the line we will have different players with different skill sets and we'll be picking teams to suit those qualities.

I believe I missed last weeks write up. Unsure as to why. Anyway cheers RTB they are as good as ever.

Going for 2-3 to the cuddlies. Thought our football last week 1st half was decent until the final third. 2nd half until we went 0-2 and 10 men we were garbage.
However unlike some fans ( imo translated "idiots") on other social media platforms I am certainly not panicking about losing one league game and being out of the cup.
Promotion must be the aim and theres a long long way to go.

As my youngest said yesterday, if Carlsberg did birthdays - at cricket yesterday and there again tomorrow, so 1 win under my belt. Main one today - can't wait :1980_boogie_down:
