The players you mention were all accadamy grads and had local ties to the club (actual supporters too). He had no problem getting rid when a player fell off or played up regardless of name or stature.
But that's not the case here. Like I just said why would you sell players in the best form of their careers?
They just won the treble , but I think they may have peaked squad wise. I am not a Haaland is a god robot person, in fact I think City were not as good going forward with him. I can see players leaving that are hard to replace and there is always the risk of spending big money on replacements that are not as good as those leaving - or at least not as good in those players peak years. Think we have a chance of overhauling them next year - IF we get our business right this summer.
It's looking worse for City.. I mean Gvardiol is quality but soo is Laporte. Paqueta now.. Not a bad player but he's no Gundogan. and he's not worth 100m!! Walker is TOP quality... that's another big loss. I mean Pep's the best manager out there but the squad is definitely weaker this time round.
Thought Walker was staying. I do think they’ve peaked and to go again after winning everything is exceptionally hard but also don’t think anyone else has the squad to get close.
I mean we were close last Season. There's no reason why we can't outperform that this year - our squad is stronger.
More expectation this year and more games. I think you’ll go closest again still. I had a free bet to use so backed you just because it seemed best value.
Rice & Timber ….we’ll see what Havertz can do. but like bear says. We’re stronger than last season. I’m sure we‘ll give City some competition this season. Just hoping we can go one step further and win it
Bruh I’m not having him scoring a hat-trick against Vladivostok in the group stage and Morecambe in the league cup. Call it ten league goals. Yeah let’s say username.
pinkie thinks hes going to be a world beater but thinks scoring above 10 goals is world class. even richarlison was banging in 10 goals on average for everton
