Crazy thing about this Caicedo deal is how desperate he’s been to get out of Brighton. They’re a great club to be at at the moment, quality football and a good season last year that got them EL football for the coming season, the guy was chomping at the bit to join a Chelsea side that finished 12th before Pool swooped.

woke up to a is caicedo worth 110m message in my whatsapp group? I didn't think he was even worth 80m and thought chelsea had gone and done something stupid again.

It’s just Levy trying to act like he wants to cancel the deal to save face from fans. He knows full well 95% of the fanbase don’t give a **** about getting £100m for our best player when we’ll likely just waste it so he’s gonna act like he’s gonna try and stop it.
