I think if Kane hadn't moved he could've done Spurs a huge favour. Yeh they would've lost £100m but it may just have been the final nail in Levy's coffin if Kane had left for free next year. It could have made Levy's position untenable. After all the public grief he's been getting from the fans he'd have lost the one thing he's known for, the money he gets for selling players.
