I think we need to examine Schlems pics a bit closer, there wasn't a leak spurting out in that last pic, I reckon he put his spade through it.
All done now. They were on a job around the corner so they popped around and fixed it. Took all of five minutes. Got them to replace the full length, less ****ty fifty year old pipe to go pop in the future.
bit premature since he still has to fill it in yet . Just have this vision of in a years time Mrs Schlem stepping out of the house and a scream of "are you ever going to fill this ****ing hole" ringing round the neighbourhood
He's probably had to go back to the kitchen, wonder if he's managed to sort the damage worktop before his mrs saw it.
Painting my son's room starts today, removed a load of bolts that were in the wall got a couple of rawl plugs to remove and polyfilla to do then sand it down. By the time I've done this and bought the paint I can't see any actual paint hitting the walls today.
It doesn't happen they are locked in there. I won't use them again unless I'm sure I won't have to take them out, good bit of kit if you don't want to take them out. Maybe a screwdriver and hammer. Anyway they are out now and polyfilla in. Swans down and second coat on ceiling tomorrow.
