Acun will be in attendance for the game hopefully with the Biscuit King, they need to see a big performance from the team and also from Liam as well. If Acun has any doubts that the team aren't playing for Liam, then Acun's sphincter might start to get a bit twitchy. We will have a big crowd in the MKM - new season ticket holders in attendance, improved merchandise (hopefully) in the club shop, City have a lot to win on Saturday and also a lot to lose. Last season, we had some big crowds (aided by cheap tickets) at the MKM but City failed to deliver the goods. The Sheff Massive are coming to City to take part in a huge game, come 5pm on Saturday I hope to see some happy faces in the City stands.
I would take a scruffy 1 nil win with the goal coming from a jammy deflection off Vaughan's massive fringe, but I think Acun will be wanting more from City. Acun's a showman, social media operator, TV & online media provider, he will be wanting to tell/sell a story. I just hope the expectations placed on City don't add to the burden already on the players. Hoping for a good start, an early goal and then the supporters will get 'behind the tigers'
Exactly. If you went to a pub and the beer was flat would you stay for more? If you went out to eat and the food was rubbish would you go back again? Mr entertainer wanted to sell a dream. We ended up with a chef who can't cook. Don't blame the customers when they decide they're unhappy paying for dross.
but presumably lots of empty seats from missing for the weekend ST holders? Hopefully they've passed them on to friends to use.
That because home fans are going in the away end so FC massive can go in the home end and have enough tickets for their away following.
Them were the days attacking football fullbacks overlapping getting crosses in the box and mainly entertaining the fans.
I think it is an important game for various reasons, but we shouldn't lose sight of the fact that Liam is still early in his career as a coach and still young. We need to give him a bit of slack IMO, he will make mistakes, but he is bright enough to work them out. This is a 2 or 3-year project, and as long as we progress year-on-year then I think Acun will back him.
Need some rain, roofer's been to fixed our roof twice and it was still leaking, short of getting the hose pipe out we need a bloody downpour to see whether it's actually fixed this time.
