There certainly is no logic to how transfers are valued these days. All about what the selling club names and whichh club is stupid enough to pay it.

It will do Maguire a world of good to be out of the high pressure limelight.

Just get these players gone so we can get Amrabat and either Todibo or Pavard in.

    Fred to Fulham
McTominay and Maguire to West Ham
Van De Beek to Sociedad (on loan or sale)
    Henderson to Forest

If we manage all that it'll be one helluva transfer window.

Don't forget the extra 20p we can get from the sale of Eric B to the arabs.

Is it just me, but I can't remember seeing him play or even hearing a peep in pre-season about Malacia

I was thinking about this the other day when Fernandez was playing. Malacia has to be injured to not have been involved. But quite frankly, Fernandez would be my second option to Shaw at the left back position. The crowd loved him too.

    From the Evening Standard:

The Dutch full-back did not go on the US tour due to an unspecified injury problem and did not play in any friendly before or after.

As with every other player on this list, a new update on Malacia should be forthcoming when Ten Hag addresses the media on Friday in his pre-Wolves press conference.

Why not Brandon Williams? He played well against Real Madrid. Granted he was out of position for the goal in the final minute but tbf the whole defence was! I thought he closed down well, put in decent challenges, won the ball, and actually got forward and can pass. Pretty much as he did 2/3 yrs ago when he came through into the first team.

Brandon is a very good young player, always looks angry as if he want's to kill someone but i have seen him smile and laugh in a bonding session on tour.

That's alright but I know what you mean about him looking... I'd say 'hangry' and it's good.

The difference with Fernandez is that his all road game in starting attack from the deep is noticeably impactful every time I’ve watched him play. Brandon gets the job done but that kid Fernandez appears to be generationally good for a United left back.

Hopefully Kane will stay with Spurs and we can nip in there in January and sign him up for next season, a fantastic buy both in terms of what he can offer our squad but also in terms of the influence he can have on Hojland's development. Hopefully he will steer well clear of BM, he must realise they can win the Bundesliga at a canter without him, and they are certainly not genuine contenders for the CL any more, so they offer him little more by way of a genuine challenge than if he joined Celtic. The guy wants to cement some PL history, and rather than watch Levy pocket £90 plus million, he will see out his contract and can then command a huge signing on fee that will go straight into his own pocket.

I hope he’s thoughtful enough to not go to Germany and I hope Levy loses his sht over the mess.

So Fred and Bailly sales agreed?

    Sale of Maguire also agreed.

Can we please get on with signing Amrabat and a CB if that's the plan?

Just a stand-in GK left and we're all set like a jelly.

    McTominay is staying.

Unbelievable, we got a £30m offer and should've sold him.
