One lot of hatred started when Liverpool bought Rickie( certainly didn’t need him) to unsettle the likes of twat beard and Co to join, Where I come from (small town south on the coast) is full of self entitled Liverpool fans …..99% of which have never been to Anfield ( or even know where it is) keep telling me how much they know about football because they watch Liverpool every week on the Tv. Now I have been live in Swindon for 23 years …..and hey presto the same but a 100 miles closer to Liverpool. Horrible club with Utd not far behind.
I used to live in Swindon (for 30 years) until Just over a year ago. Totally out of the blue I met a fellow Saint in Cannons (Nuffield) gym, he was wearing a Saints shirt and it only turned out to be a lad who was in the same class as me at school in Stockbridge! I also saw a girl wearing a Saints shirt and said something like 'Well done I'm a Saints fan too' and she sort of smiled and never wore it again and avoided me. Completely normal service there then.
Unfortunately I think a lot of us have this problem wherever we live as Liverpool ‘fans’ are everywhere. I once had some Liverpool supporting from work try and say that Liverpool made VVD the player he is. I took exception to this and retorted with ‘well if that’s true, what did you do for Lovren, Lallana, Clyne and Rickie?’ They soon shut up after that!

In two loan spells, Cameron Archer has 18 Championship goals in 40 games. Not a bad record, but can’t say I’ve ever seen him play.
I’m confused as to why we accepted what seems to be a relatively low fee for JWP given the fees West Ham are demanding for Paqueta and Rice. Got to be down to an agreement with the player and the size of his wages surely ? But that Paqueta price seems insane. He doesn’t seem to be a 100m game changer. Look at where West Ham finished. It is not the like Grealish who clearly stood out for them Also - I wonder if Everton being in for Gnonto ends their Sulemana interest. Or does he play centrally ?
Especially as they already have 3 good strikers. Unless one or more is on the way out. Surprised Vardy isn’t going to Saudi or the like I wonder if that makes the price too high for us or Leeds ?
