And one of the best, Frank McLintock . Better than anything we've got even when he reached 37. Some Rangers fans would still moan if we done a double swoop on Haaland and DeBryne

They’d probably tell us that they’re too young and lack experience and we should sign older experienced players <whistle><whistle><whistle>

I think most of the comments refer to our ‘policy’ of bringing through youth and developing them to sell. All of these experienced signings fly in the face of that.
Even if it is ‘short-term’ because of our financial position we are still left with these players for 2-3 years - which presumes we are not perusing young talent for those seasons ahead.
We seem to change policy more often than a political party :emoticon-0181-fubar

I think, with everyone fit (I know, I know), I'd like Cook to play in a 3-5-2.
I don't think we can afford the luxury of playing Chair and Willock in the same line up, so I'd play one of them ahead of Colback and Field, with Armstrong and Dykes up top.

I would play 3-0-7 and just continue to punt the ****er up field

Sunderland's player of the season last year ! Considering how well they did last season and some of the players they had, that's some achievement. I'd take him like a rocket

Looks as though we missed out on Harry Kane.

Thought we were just saving all our money for Kane...

: This is one game too soon for Jake.

Jimmy has had to have a procedure and will unfortunately be out for a period of time

We’re more likely to sign Michael Caine the way things are going

We’ve put a tent over him and stuck a bolt in his head. Useless prick.

If we’ve put him in a tent, let’s hope the scouts find him :emoticon-0136-giggl
