It's a new master tactic. Benno starts upfront, doc at the back. With 15 mins to go they swap positions so doc can terrify defences with his pace.

Good result for the youth squad :)
Although I am starting to think I'll never see Alonso. as long as we keep winning though I'm not too bothered <ok>

Very entertaining 2nd half, end-to-end good value for a fiver. Young Poyet sat in the middle and sprayed the ball around the way we'd like to see Alonso do, and he also saved us with a fine last minute goal-line clearance. Also worth a special mention Pritchard's astonishing stamina and Smith's lively attacking play.

I do like the look of Sho Silva, think he could become a player.

It'd be nice to get Welling in the next round with a good crowd turning up.

Ramsgate or Margate in the quarter-finals.

If we can get Benno and Doc off the books it would give an opportunity to Popo and Osborne.

If we can just get doc off the books we'd all be very happy :)

    Did Pritchard last 90 minutes?

    If so, excellent news.

Sorry, can't access the O/S at work.

Pritchard completed 90 minutes, with Bover clocking up 73 minutes (after a goal/assist) on his comback from injury. Sounds like a good exercise. Can't WAIT for us to be rid of Doherty.

You will see Alonso gone either in the January transfer window or at the end of the Season.

What sort of contract is he on, if any?

I guess Alonso is the only one of our new signings where CP did not have a major input? Maybe it was always known he was a longshot as to fitness, and though sad if his career has ended, it was already a strong possibility known to himself and to us.

Not sure Alonso was one of Chrissy's picks and we saw what happened last summer to people Chris did not want.

Pritchard is as fit as a butcher's dog. Made me tired watching him.

Didn't Chris Powell recently state that no signing was made this summer without his approval? Either way, you can't miss what you never had if he is given his marching orders.

Alonso is on a one year contract. If he can't even make the squad in the Kent cup he is toast.

Yes, thanks to all fans who attended and especially to those who reported back to us. Sounds like a match worth playing and CP judged the team strength perfectly to give a close match (more helpful in assessing players) but to still win.

One other player I forgot to mention was Nick Pope. Didn't put a foot wrong, had no chance with the goals and is a real natural at judging a cross. Very impressed.

Love Pritchard, I took a silly punt on it whilst picking my name for Not606 and he turned out to be a gem. He could be a top player at this level at least
