Yes but there are more serious issues. Well probably need at least a half dozen or more signings before transfer window to cover for the ones gone, the ones still to go and the outright rocks that will have limited impact on the season. At this point it's difficult to see us attracting any quality. Yesterday was an example of the problems we face re signings. Bournemouth ffs now regarded a much bigger club than us because of their pl status, certainly not their 18k average gate but that doesn't interest players.

As things stand for me, I’d see it being 4-5 maximum. Two central midfield players and two defenders. It depends on how Farke sees Bamford, Rutter and Joseph.

It’s frustrating but like Farke said, it is what it is, we just need to let that dust settle, we can’t change it. I do feel the growing injury list means we need to push a couple of targets through just a bit quicker

Why does everyone want a right back all of a sudden. Dramah, Byram and Ayling were both available last night.

Buy a ****ing left back! Hjelde can't do it cos he's a centre half and Byram is a right back that can fill in at left back but is just as injury prone as Bamford. Firpo is **** in case you'd all forgotten.

Agreed mate but still think someone who knows the British Game like Nicky Hammond is far better for us rather than some super scout who can bring in Carlos Kickaball from the Austrian League or wherever :emoticon-0148-yes:

You may be right bud. Caveat is Hammond has a fairly patchy record. Ask Celtic fans… and he only rubber stamped other people’s desks for Newcastle.

He does know the UK game and Farke seems to put an emphasis on knowing the league/the right type of player to get us up. So far all 4 signings/attempted ones have been British.

Let’s hope the formula is a good one.

He was due to sign for us today. However, just before putting pen to paper, he checked this forum and decided to stay in Austria due to certain posters negativity towards him ;)

I guess they all have patchy records to some extent but, in my opinion, Ampadu for example always had a much higher chance of success than, say Roca or Arronson. Aarons would, in my limited opinion also have been a shoe in success for us and, let's not forget, according to many fonts of knowledge, Cresswell was also leaving a week or so ago with at least two Premier League clubs interested before he signed his new contract so work is quietly going on behind the scenes in a positive way.

Having said that, the egg is all mine if it turns out to be a Llorente type of new contract <laugh>

They do all have patchy records as do most managers. I just haven’t signed up this ‘anyone but Orta is great’ trend I’m witnessing. I’ll judge that in May <laugh>

Aarons is decent on the ball and poor defensively from what I’ve seen. From what I’ve seen of Farke in the past he prefers the scales tipped that way… as did bielsa… and it’s less likely to be an issue in the champ.

I’ve no beef at all with any of the signings so far. Before kicking a ball my expectations for Ampadu was higher than the others so far.

Anyone but Orta is great is not started by me bud….. unless he signed your nephew, Jay Roy Milkster, in which case, he was plainly incompetent :emoticon-0148-yes:

<laugh> So did I but I think he was calling that Joe Wassisname a knobhead who tempted fate by saying Aarons signs for Leeds done deal. Saw it myself when scrolling through YouTube yesterday and there were one or two others of these ‘itk’ (clickbaiters) twats saying the same <doh>

    They look pretty stupid today.

To clarify the Jamster did state some weeks ago that everyone on here is/was a knobhead.

Then of course Wakey got upset and wanted his own arsehole category which was duly granted <cheers>

It didn’t meet with much argument to be fair jambo. I suspect most felt this was a topic where we had to bow to your greater knowledge and experience. Which made a change.

Do complete Cnuts like me get our own category… or is there a waitlist?

    The choices are yours;

Option 1) Attend a game drink 20 pints and then fall face down in a curry.

Option 2) Spend the latter part of the evening with OLOF & chums and never speak of it again.

Legendary status is earn't not given <cheers>
