Only exercise I’ve seen fadge do is lift pints with his right arm and neck exercises whilst he downs sambucca’s
Got a new Ti frame and built up a do it all bike. First spin today, have to ask myself why I would ride anything else.
All I do is run about 4/5 times a week and a few weights to help burn and tone. About 4 months ago I got a pain down the outside of the right leg, above and below the outside of the knee. Defo not the hammy and very weird in that basically I can run, walk, do pretty much anything no pain. But stepping out of the car onto the right foot and standing up or walking up the stairs i.e. bending and weight-bearing solely on that right leg and the pain shoots up and down. So I'm thinking wtf is this about? How come no pain walking or running? Maybe a tendon or something there so looked it up and the closest thing that possibly matched is Iliotibial Band Syndrome. But it says inflammation and there's no inflammation at all so not sure. The general advice is to rest it so ended up taking a couple of months off running. That done fck all. So bcos there's no pain when running I thought fck it and started running again. 6 weeks later and the pain is gone Oh and someone at work's told me to take collagen, don't know whether that's some new fad but apparently all the cool middle-aged folk are on it.
I’ve done some sort of nerve damage picking weights up off the floor. Hardly any pain now walking or in the gym after three weeks but lying down is uncomfortable. Munse is right though. Stop being a tart. ****ing collagen.
181 for two reps on the chest press for two reps and 186 for 1. Banged out a full set at 161. 150 on the shoulder press for 4. 12kg down now since late April.
New gym doesn’t have a proper leg press so I’m doing one-legged presses on the girly leg press at 136 and then the leg extension goes up to 109 so just trying to do those as slowly as possible. Tweaked my hammy a few weeks ago and it’s still not right though so not going too nuts with legs in general and don’t really enjoy training them. Got some cyclist goblet squats in my new plan which I did three sets of 35kg on yesterday and can go a bit heavier so will work my way up to 50 on those then move onto something else. Some people love training legs but I hate it.
I'm not doing the collagen I don't go to a gym but I'm happy doing free weights at home. It's good for everything except the legs which I tend to manage with squats and the barbell.
That's an old fav of course, but not this time. The Finsbury Park bakery needs to up their salt beef game too imo.
You can’t beat the Beigel Bakery on Brick Lane even if the guy’s son killed his wife and daughter and got sent to Broadmoor.
