The question is how much can you spend though having spent already? Surely this is good for the club?
Classic levy don't worry about it derailing your season and having him start most of your pre season games. Squeak out that extra 5m lol
Losing him even if it’s a big fee is a massive blow for the club. Spurs won’t buy another striker. They will use Richarlison as his replacement
Surely not?! Take Lukaku, you know you want to! He may be a massive bi-polar ****er, and he will probably sow dissent amongst your squad given half a chance, but he would probably get you 15-20 goals!
So Kane is finally going, about time to, and the right decision - hopefully he can finally win a club trophy, and it also allows Spurs to move onto the next era, a new beginning all round. It would have been complete madness any other way.
I knew Levy was too much of a businessman to let him stay unless he was 1000% sure he was going to sign an extension. You can't let a player worth around the £100m mark to leave on a free, and likely go to a prem rival, which I am sure Kane would have if he had been left to his own devices. This way they export him abroad and get a big payout.
Kane is now deciding to accept or stay !! WTaF is wrong with him, if he wanted to stay and got for free why talk to Bayern!! late United bid incoming ??
No idea mate Well he's had time to learn a few words, this negotiating lark has been going on long enough. Anyway Tuchel is there, isn't he, so communication will not be a problem immediately.
Alot of Germans speak English too. I work in Germany a lot and speak a bit of German, but most of them speak pretty decent english. Most of the players on the team certainly will.
Genuine question. Do Gillingham actually have any footballing rivalry ? Growing up in London, the rivalry has always been Arsenal/Spurs, then more of the hooligan element was always Chelsea/Spurs, West Ham/Spurs, Millwall/Chelsea, Millwall/Everybody else. One of the things about going to football in London, was that I'd often go and watch West Ham, Charlton (when they were at Selhurst park) or Millwall, when Arsenal were away up North and I couldn't afford to go. And that was true for lots of lads growing up in London, because basically you could choose between 3 or 4 different games on any given weekend if your team were playing away... (this is back in the days of pay at the turnstile) Going to watch Chelsea or Spurs though in the home end, was always a massive no though.
He won’t come to us. I think we’ll target Gift Orban. Looks like the next big thing and can probably be got for about £30m. Either way Richarlison will be first choice for the for the time being though… ****ing wonderful.
