Would love to know the details of this - how much compensation in the end for Walsh and Shakespeare, and what agreement to keep LCFC from coming in for our best players in Jan.

What agreement to keep LCFC coming in for our best players. Your having a laugh aren't you? There will not be any agreement, we will just have to hope PaPa Barmby can keep their feet on the ground and tell them they need to walk before they run and money is not everything

I think it's fair to say if there was an agreement we'd be shouting it from the rooftops in the same way Colchester did.

It's quite common for a manager leaving in these circumstances to have a 'no return' clause in there settlement agreement, usually for 12 months, there was one in place when Parkinson came to us from Colchester.

The Allams aren't stupid, they'll want to keep hold of their best players for as long as they can. Hopefully more time with us will strengthen their desire to stay here. I'd expect such an agreement to have been part of the deal, though who's to say NP will still be Leicester manager come the start of 2012/13?

I think the way the Allams have held their end up in negotiations with Lester we can safely assume we will not entertain any approach from Pearson for players even if there isn't a "no return" agreement.

Tbh after their dealings with Papa Allam over NP, I would think they'd think twice before coming anywhere near our players.

I think you're all being a bit naive. There's 1 club in the championship with serious money and a manager who clearly likes our players and vice versa. Of course we'd never publicly say it but if we can make 400% profit on the likes of Chester and Cam and £2m on Rosie with 18 months of his contract left the board would be delighted.

Opened the thread thinking the details where here!
It would be a massive shock if there was not a "no poaching clause". Don't think we are suckers any more.

I hope Warren Joyce stays at Man U. If we do lose some of this crop, maybe we'll get some more?

what on earth is this pityful obsession with LCFC coming back for our players in Jan ? IT WONT HAPPEN - END OF.

as for the Un-Disclosed sums mentioned in Compo. settlement you can read into that what you want to......................................... IMO,

Lesta have paid more than they wanted to BUT Hull City did not get the figure they held out for. Thats the modern way of doing things i guess. The bottom line is now its all done with. LC have there men and we have ours.

Let battle commence and I know which squad I prefer. NB barmby army, barmby army.

what rubbish. Liam Rosinoir has already said on many occasions that he will not leave Hull City for another NPC club. end of. Chester is not PL ready yet. All this endless drivel on all our players are going is worse than a NP interview.

I know who i would rather play for. Nick Barmby is a players manager and one who can bring on these lads even more so that NP has or would do.
