My first thought was he's by 2000 Gns winner so 7-8f shouldn't be a problem. But on looking at the pedigree, Saxon Warrior was sired by Deep Impact, a top class stayer (and sire) and from the Nashwan family and the dam of SW, Maybe, ran well in the Oaks and is by Galileo. So plenty of stamina on that side. SW himself was a decent middle class colt as well (which I had forgotten).
