German ownership rules wouldn't allow them to come in and buy the club outright, so what would that ambition be?
Probably the 'west ham media briefing spin' to make it look like we caved in to them, and make West Ham look good ... Blackmore (or another Saints journalist) might well have different values briefed to them.
Yeah this doesn’t make any real sense unless the first one wasn’t a guaranteed 30m and this one actually is. Or the first was over too many years
Apparently West Ham have also agreed 30m for Maguire - I’m sure that level of bid has also been rejected as well. Seems odd that suddenly two bids for two different players for amounts already rejected have now been accepted. And by “odd” I mean “hard to believe”
I misunderstood your post. I thought you were saying they wanted to expand their club empire to include Dortmund, not that we wish to emulate them. My error. Wanting to emulate Dortmund seems reasonable - but will take time.
But why wouldn’t the other side (in this case us) just point out the lie. Unless it isn’t in our interest to have the fee reported as too high
It's absolutely imperative we replace JWP with an experienced CM. I expect Grimes will be the likely replacement.
See what the Saints journo's come out with but £30m for our club captain and best player is not what I'd expect from a club that "will only sell at the right price".
I’d hope we are aiming for better with the funds we now have from Livramento and JWP. Who that is I don’t know off the top of my head
Yeah. Too cheap. This hurts more than lallana for me. I really thought he might stay and help us back up to the PL. It would have been phenomenal. To see him in a ****ing West Ham shirt will be sickening
It’s strange I feel much at all, loyalty for me changed the day when the badge kissing twat beard got out at the first opportunity at when Liverpool chatted him up. Players, owners, will come and go ……us fans however will always be here.
