"Quality foreign players"? Overpaid prima donnas who wouldn't know a hard shift if it hit them slap, bang between the eyes. More home grown players has been the call from some of us from day one...
Well considering we still don't look particularly fit, I'd hazard a guess and say the work wasn't unreasonable. For someone like Traore who had multiple injuries in the past few years, I would think he'd be the last to complain about actually getting his body right.
Are you smoking crack? I’m in the bed wetting group, I’ve been saying since last season and even more so in pres season how poor we look
I think you've misinterpreted my post, as I've certainly been one of those calling for more home grown players too.
It’s not tinpot if you ****ing win it soft lad, we were 90 minutes away from the final under Marco, I expect you would have gone to Wembley if we had
Strange comment from LR about tonight’s performance having an impact on incomings. Surely your targets aren’t changed on the basis of one game.
Doncaster Rovers manager Grant McCann told BBC Radio Sheffield: "I thought we were excellent after the first 10-15 minutes because Hull are always difficult to play against. "We came here tonight to try and be brave and I was really pleased with the boys in and out of possession. "We wanted to win the game but don't get me wrong, I'd swap tonight for three points on Saturday because the league is our bread and butter." Waiting for LR....
I think there’s definitely more to it than simply being annoyed at doing too much fitness work in pre-season. His arrogance without the experience or success to back it up might rub some players the wrong way. You have to remember, some of these players have played for clubs in the top leagues in Europe. Seri and Traoré for example. @Howdentiger2 said his Derby-supporting mate said Rosenior doesn’t like experienced pros in his team. Well, maybe this is why. They might question his methods and philosophy since they’ve played for much higher-level coaches than him.
Yeh you would think but who knows really. Some players do look fit, some look off it. The Norwich game was particularly testing and Liams already mentioned the amount running involved in it. I would bet that if there is discontent than the pre-season workload would be just one factor out of multiple things.
Some on here were raving about these players we were getting in, and backing Acun to bring in Turkish wunderkinds, when we needed to be getting local quality first..
Stick to tennis Kath, and making sure everyone knows how much you hate football whenever the subject comes up
