Absolutely shocking tonight. No movement, no urgency, no idea how to play against a team who won’t press if you pause on the ball.

I know it seems rash but I’ve seen managers for u12 teams have more tactical changes up their sleeve in a game than Rosenior.

He’s that guy everyone has at their work who speaks a lot so people think he’s intelligent and has all the ideas. Always get promoted to one job position above their ability.

Yep. Reminds me of a tech start-up CEO who thinks his methods of running an organisation is ‘revolutionary’ and that they’ll be the best in the business so long as everyone subscribes to his ethos. Also uses a lot of buzzwords.

Depends if they've been lined up early to complete when the parent club has a replacement or not.

If we start missing those then we may have a problem.

Think we can forget Rak-Sakyi now, his club will be thinking even less games he would have a chance to play in now and would probably learn nothing or improve.

Right, I'm going to have a go at putting some positive spin on the evening.

Rosie sacrificed the cup run to push the point that we need to bring in additional players in key positions, and the performance tonight was aimed at demonstrating that.

I can make up other bullshit too, but I charge extra for that. <ok>
Or.... as the cup run is over, those who otherwise would not get a chance to play can now be found places on loan in league 2.

I noticed that too and it makes it even worse. Heads dropping and negative body language in the second game of the season. Not good. Traoré and Connolly didn’t look happy when subbed off.

I like Rosenior a lot and I do want him to do well with us and a part of me is hoping he’ll turn it around and get us going but I just don’t see it. He’s too naive and talks too much without delivering. I started to question whether he was the right person for the job at the back end of last season but I still wanted to see what he could do with a full pre-season and summer transfer window. Well, pre-season performances looked like we regressed and tonight and against Norwich were the same. His transfers have been uninspiring and I think quality players at this level don’t want to come here and play under him.

Acun really should’ve pushed the boat and got Pedro Martins.

Part of you wants him to do well with us?

So part of you wants him to fail?

Unbelievable!!

I don't understand why Ingram just walked slowly forward with the ball and everybody was watching him. He's been told to play out from the back, the rest of the team looked like they were waiting for him to play it long. Even Doncaster didn't even try and take the ball off him and he was 40 yards outside his area.

You know what? Next season, just decline entry. After years of getting Wigan and Millwall in the first round, we actually get lower league teams and then **** out. Fans should be refunded after that.
I don't understand either. I'm not sure I've ever seen anything so embarrassing and bewildering from us before. The thing is, it wasn't just over a short period but continued for most of the game. Where were the instructions from the bench (from Rosenior in the stands). You can only assume he wanted it to continue like that.
Basically Rosenior's tactic was being out thought by McCann and his L2 players.
Rosenior should be utterly embarrassed. I wait to hear him BS his way out of that **** show.

I don’t think he’ll get the courtesy of ten games to prove himself, things need to change quick.

The club expect top 10.

He should get a few games with a settled squad but we're not even doing the things we did well last season.

If it continues going backwards then he wont see out October, but players need to look at themselves too.

No excuse for leaving Ingram high and dry with no movement so many times.

On DMD's post of attitude... has anyone stopped to think why Benji would want to leave a club where the owners dream and his dream was to play in the Premiership, perhaps the pinnacle of his career... the word catalyst springs to mind...

Maybe - and I am giving the pot a good old stir here - Shelbourne aren't our feeder club. Maybe it's the other way around.

Which team are more likely to be playing in Europe next season? And so which team would you put more money, time and effort into in order to see success? Shelbourne are far more likely to succeed in their respective division than we are in ours, so which of the two teams do we think Acun's efforts will be most focused on?

Hmm. Needs more salt.

Fair to say ST it would not take a lot of money to make them perennial Champions...
