If they were aligned we’d have one. That’s the problem. Arrogance.

****s sake. We've had two bad results by narrow margins and the doom and gloom merchants are loving it. Mowbray is unhappy blah blah. Wouldn't have heard a peep out of these people if we'd have won one or got a couple of draws.

Lots of drama queens on here.

Tbh I stand by what the club are trying to do and the transfer strategy they’ve implemented. Years in league one to 6th in the championship in what 5 windows maybe? With high value players in the squad on long term deals. I’m also okay that managers don’t get full control because managers rarely see out two seasons and new managers end up being left with players they don’t want. However, it would be concerning if TM ended up walking for me as it would seem like the strategy isn’t flexible enough and will look like an untenable job from the outside regardless of the success of the manager. Not too worried at the moment, will see where we stand in a few weeks

We need 100% alignment. This is going to be such a waste of a season if this isn’t sorted soon. Can’t believe it

Thats based on results mate, you know that as well - that neil shot goes the other side of the post on sat then theres hardly any negativity.

Negativity breds negativity and i don't think TMs press conferences are helping. As you said he is def putting pressure on speakman n co to sign experience but to us supporters it just shows the club is disjointed, thats where the negativity comes from imo

From the little bits I've seen of him in the u21's he has great awareness, a lovely first touch and a good footballing brain.

I'd like to see more of him in and around the squad

Why has it drifted away? Because of an unlucky defeat to Ipswich?

TM made mistakes in that game. He could of swapped Clarke and Roberts around with the intention of getting crosses in, instead he allowed them to constantly cut in resulting in Hemir being ineffective. He takes Hemir off and then uses Ballard upfront at the death lol.

I'll start worrying once the window slams shut and we are left with Stewart and Hemir.

1/3 of our priorities sorted and many players signed. Sign what we needed FFS and get a move on.

Not true. Some have been saying Tone hasn't been happy since may. That's when it started.

Just listen to his interviews of you want clues.

I predicted a few days ago that TM would leave by mutual consent within 2 or 3 months.
I now think it will be much quicker. I now believe they are "forcing" him out. If he worked in another industry he would have grounds for constructive dismissal!

Really not as simple as that though

If they just wanted any striker we could have signed one by now, they'll be wanting a quality one. The important thing is to get a quality one in before the window closes rather than just getting an average one in for the start of the season

Look if at the end of the window we havent signed another striker we will all be hitting the roof n be raging

The market will open up a lot in the nxt few weeks so lets see what happens

His interviews are never consistent. One day he's happy as Larry and positive, the next day he's depressed and we have to lower our expectations.

All this worry off the back of a journalist tweeting something? Nothing to see here is my opinion. Mowbray is far too savvy to get embroiled in this sort of daft stuff about handing over lists of players. Footy hasnt worked like that for a long time and he knows what his job is. I have no doubt he can nominate players, and thd whole group responsible for recruitment will take a view. Dack is an example. But I would be confident Mowbray isnt daft enough to sulk about not getting his own way. As for approaching a new coach last summer again Mowbray is too long in the tooth to fret over it, and I do not believe there was much to the story anyway. I am sure they are all just getting on with the job they are paid for, and in Mowbrays case that is coaching the players to give them the best chance to win games.

With respect mate, agree with prehab here. Mowbray’s tone has changed slightly. He hasn’t been outright in his complaints, but he gives enough away to see he’s not happy.

He did a Bruce tonight with his forward players.

No reason a young lad couldn't have started and got minutes.
