I think we now know why Derby didn't give Liam the managers job to him permanently.
It's not so much the losing, it's the manner of it. And the fact that we just kept on doing the same thing over and over.

2 games this season we've gone backwards.

At the end of last season, a lot of us were hopeful that a proper preseason would get the squad fitter, gelling more, and with a few new signings to fill the gaps, we would kick on and improve.
We blamed Shota for a **** preseason and imagined that without injuries and with better coaching, we would look something like a top 10 team. Instead, we’ve regressed, there appears to be no clear patterns of play, players don’t look fit, and we have no identity or style.
Even passing out from the back yields nothing, when teams press, we **** the bed, when they sit off, we look lost. When does Rosie become culpable for it? No identity, no plan, no idea.
I hope we turn things around, but I just really don’t see it happening.

And theres another problem... if you care, instead of doing things naturally you start doing things unnaturally and that has consequences. This isn't a problem of a pre seasons making I'll tell you that, it was as clear as day toward the end of last season..
I'm not giving up on them just yet but they haven't been at the level. We finished last season.
