Well we know what to work on at least. According to Merse (Bucket. Salt) we have been 2nd best all game.

One time in nearly 20 years. Really great odds those. We've got enough midweek games at it is. The EFL Cup is a waste of time and effort for us this season. Well, it would have been, anyway. Really not fussed about this.

We made 11 changes. There was no momentum anyway.
Probably the best outcome from RM's point of view, gives him all the ammo for the next few critical weeks in the transfer out/in process.
Honestly, it's fine. I'd happily never see the likes of Lyanco, McCarthy and Djenepo play again (and they're not the only ones). The more embarrassing for them, the better.
Positive: Russel will get a look at some of the fringe players and hopefully not pick them again.

Looking at our stats, so far this season we have played two games, had 4 shots on goal against and let in.......4 goals.
