I think we’ll start to see an end to football transfer fees. I think we’ll slowly edge towards shorter contracts and players signing a new one or leaving on a free. Most teams in Europe seem broke, it’s only Sky that’s keeping our teams afloat
Marathe has said it might take time to get things sorted and they won't be ready for the start of the season. Farke has said that his squad won't be built until the back end of the window. I'd say that qualifies as a club stance that late window business is likely.
Stuffed marathe said they had targets identified and lined up. So far they have signed one player and a spare goalie. Nobody wanted Byram who will be injured at some point.

Media all over the place on signing a CB, so far the Greek guy, Rodon and Phillips and they are all signing in days………… good to play cards close to your chest so probably not signing any of them
Romano has tweeted (late last night) about Rodon signing this week so I’d imagine we’ll see it happen
Not really just wanted players in before throwing home points away. Last weeks of the window is not what i wanted to see.
Rodon is right footed but played mainly LCB at Swansea, so he may be the LCB Cooper-Struijk replacement… and pants or Phillips still to come? His career’s stalled a bit, stopped getting game time and Renne’s didn’t exercise their option to buy last year. But he’s a unit and like’s to bring the ball out of defence - his game should suit Farke’s style and looked a prospect at this level previously. Good signing (on paper!)
Got a similar feel to the Ampadu signing, out of the blue when virtually done rather than talked about all over the place. Hopefully there are a few more in the pipeline.
Rumour Aarons deal off - pulled mid-medical by his agent and told Bournemouth wanted him and he's left. Not the news we wanted.
