Me too. Wonder if it is a case of having a strong spine and talkers to keep everyone solid. Baath, Neil and Pritchard will at least make sure the younger lads are talked through the game. Might be playing up front though
Hemir must have a knock surely? I would worry if Gooch is away personally as I think we saw on Sunday why he is still needed.
I think we can sign better than Gooch though, I like him but he’s so inconsistent. We will need to start selling players who we don’t think can go on the journey to the PL with us - which is the clubs plan. I don’t want to lose loads at once but think it was be smart to sell 1 or 2 this summer then sign better players to help us kick on

I am sure there are better footballers to be had. Can we get the character though, or the passion for the place? In a squad of really young lads having someone like Gooch around to show lads what being a good pro means can be massive. He can cover 2 or 3 positions adequately too, maybe not longer term, but for suspensions etc. I suppose if someone is offering a million quid it would make a bit of sense, but that figure seems unlikely. Not sure I would sell for low bar numbers.
Tough decision but if we can sign better then we should. I get about leadership passion etc but thatll only take us so far. These decisions are always the tough ones but the priority has to always be improving the squad. We will alway look to bring the right characters into the club as well as them being good footballers

Very good player when hes on it, just want him to be more consistent n as you say needs to be a bigger goal threat
Gooch has picked up a knock from Sundays game apparently. He doesnt half pick up alot of injuries Gooch, he has done for a few years now. He always seems to be nursing something.
Pritchs freekick against Pools was a Peach. Thats what he offers us as a goal threat. Any free kick around the area for us with him over it gives us a very good chance of a goal.
