Agreed. I get the gallows humor we all try to partake in to get us through this. But the personal abuse is neanderthal and hateful. I don’t have the time for such loathsome hatred to anyone or anything.
I like GA, his different style shows his individuality and non-conformity to not be like the pre-packaged football manager. I like that he tries different things no matter how crazy it might seem. He’s doing it from the right place … his heart.
I wish he hadn’t left Wycombe to come here, not because he’s no good or not good enough for us, because I never wanted him to fail with what he was walking into with us. I didn’t want his status as a player with us to end up as a horrible memory for him, or us, to look back on in the future.

Great post

Good post, SW

Clive was spot-on in his assessment of Sinclair Armstrong. Yet again, he was the only player in a Hooped shirt that looked like he was hungry and interested.
I cannot for the life of me understand why GA isn't starting with him. Give him his head and give him some confidence. Tell him, that he and Dykes are the first choice striking partnership. Take the pressure off him. Tell him it doesn't matter how many chances he misses, he's still starting every game because of what else he brings to the side. Maybe he wasn't fit enough last year and was blowing himself out. But he must have done conditioning work over the summer.
No more excuses, Gareth. Tell us if he's nursing an injury. No more dithering. No more throwing him on when the game's lost. We are an utter shambles and the only player who looks like he's on it can't get into the team. START HIM EVERY GAME! WE ARE SO INEPT, WE HAVE NOTHING TO LOSE!!

It wasn’t much but that run on to the ball over the top from Dykes where he nearly scored didn’t suggest an injury. I’d give him a run too. He’s not all that but in the land of the blind the one-eyed man is king.

Following my QPR portrait find, I found these QPR theme patio pillows at Home Hardware at $15 a piece and my partner actually suggested that we add them to the bedroom furnishings. Probably should have waited until they went 50% off during the usual summer patio furnishings clear out in a few weeks!

Not sure I’d have them in the bedroom. You’ll never keep it up.
