Not sure who the gesture was too. Exactly what I thought about Tan & Acun, hardly what they expect from their manager.
Looks like the kind of manager the opposition fans love goading - know they will get a response. Got him a red card too!!!
If anyone is interested Acun is giving a presser at 1.30 PM today and it will be streamed on their website https://shelbournefc.ie/home-page/
Shady Issues already with this acquisition. https://www.independent.ie/sport/so...d-for-breaching-betting-rules/a299667473.html
Some alleged misconduct by a coach that predates the purchase of the club, how does that translate to 'shady issues' with 'the acquisition'? Unless you're an idiot, hadn't thought of that. Carry on.
I joined a Shelbourne Facebook group when Acun bought them and this popped up on my feed this morning… Excellent cameo from Harry Wood! Looks a top player! Hope he starts next week!!
After quite a few snide remarks on twitter by the Shelborne faithful when Harry Wood joined them, such as they are just getting our cast-offs, he certainly has shown them how good a player he is. Their view has somewhat changed.
But even after yesterday's game, a Shels supporter who seems very genuine in his thoughts had this to say:
Can you blame them though? In a multi-club ownership scheme there’s always going to be one club that is lower down in terms of priority and used as a means to another club’s end.
It is on a site called boards.ie, apparently a type of general discussion site for everything and anything in Ireland - there is a group category within that site called soccer and requires registration and acceptance to gain entry. Then within that group which basically covers Premier League Big Guns there is a forum for League of Ireland called tongue in cheek "The Greatest League in the World" But there seems to be very few posts there for any given club - I just found that as one of maybe two relating to the Shelbourne game.
