Nicolaescu has scored a few goals for Moldova - but usually against the likes of Lichtenstein, Andorra and the Faroe Islands, although he did score a couple against Poland last month. Sounds like our sort of signing really - not overly inspiring, but you never know.
As a club, we're basically where we were with the Pozzo's first bought us, so expect some random continental players you've never heard of, maybe a couple of loans from Udinese, and a smattering of experienced Championship players. We're no longer a Prem side on sabbatical in the championship, we are a championship side, so I agree, this is exactly our sort of signing!
Enjoying all the rumours with a bit of optimism ATM. COYH! Play off push he we might come WHOOOOOO!!!!!
I don’t know if people go by that so much as there were plenty of complaints about Ince and Livermore signing. Some just expect to see millions spent or players brought in who will be perfect every game but that isn’t going to happen. Main thing is to have a squad who can or try to be consistent (good !) and mainly based on recent seasons keep fit to maintain some form of stability and flow to the team. But we all know a few bad results and the knives will be out from fans and owners .
Jamal Lewis looks all but done . Definitely need a left back . Did well with Norwich in this league. Yes struggled at Newcastle but that is a step up we might not need to worry about ! Ex Luton youngster so sure a few will decide to pin that on him ! After a striker and and centre back too. I see everyone is now getting in a state over a supposed lack of a defensive midfielder. Well maybe fair as Sierralta probably isn’t the answer but we aren’t going to be able to fill every position going as much as people hope. It’s not football manager unfortunately where you can just get who you want .
As even many Rangers fan will attest, he's an obnoxious and disruptive character as well as a dirty player. I honestly hope this one doesn't come off.
Watford have held interest in Alfredo Morelos, but official talks are still yet to take place - as he is not the priority. Spanish side Granada are believed to have tabled an offer to the ex-Rangers striker - Watford will still monitor the situation.
Yea that is true . Another Holebas . Might do well if things are going ok but once things don’t or he doesn’t get his way will kick off . Apparently Saudi clubs are interested ..
WatfordFC are leading the race for £2m-rated striker Sory Kaba. Six Championship clubs are interested in the forward after a productive spell at Cardiff City.
I hope this is just nonsense - Brighton and Newcastle both after Asprilla as "the 19-year-old wants to leave the Hornets" https://sportwitness.co.uk/brighton...duos-interest-in-signing-has-gained-strength/
I am worried that we haven't used him in either of the two games so far. If I was him, and had offers coming through from the premier league, then I would think it's much better to get paid more to sit on a premier league bench and learn from high calibre players than sit on the Watford bench for less money. If he was playing regularly for us, then the equation might be different. I hope I'm wrong, because I want him to stay.
It does seem strange and somewhat concerning that Asprilla has not yet been given any game time by Valerien Ismael, but he did arrive back late from international duty (with both Colombia's U-20 and the senior national team). All these stories about reported transfer interest in Asprilla appear to be emanating from Colombia. I suspect that his new agent may be at work.
Also it seems agents make most of their money from transfer deals. It's less lucrative for them for their clients just to stay put (even if that's in the best interest of their clients...).
