Silver linings is I think that wakes us up in the transfer market. And the first half was decent

We need a proven experienced striker. Not a kid with potential.

Won’t judge the team on one game, and you’re mental if you do.

The most disappointing thing about today was the red card.

I honestly believe with 11 men we would have found the equaliser

I’m going to add, as my last post of the day, that this is just one game. 46 game season. Plenty to be proud off with our club and we can all see the problems here and trust they will be addressed.

    Thank **** footy is back

Any body got any idea what is and what isn't a foul these days, Hume sent off but they fouled continually without the Ref blowing, no wonder TM is livid, and I don't mean his teams performance.
The officials were a shambles and that not sour grapes.

Far too early to **** the bed, work to be done I think is the best way to describe that, pleased with the effort after the red but we need that for 90mins if we want to challenge

Well, if the pundits are right, and Ipswich are the greatest thing since Pamela Anderson's tits, then we're not far away.

A decent striker, a few positional rethinks in midfield, a bit of luck and quicker to react to going down and we'll be fine.

    I'm pissed

I’m not ok with that today. Performance was good in parts but to once again be left with no forward on the pitch is really bad. Even if we sign one this week they won’t be settled in for a while.

Lots to be positive about. Another day and that game's finished at half time.

Defensive midfielder and more cover up top (even if it's a six month loan) required.

    O'Nien shouldn't be a centre half.

Upset that Hume chose to commit that foul, he had Ballard backing him up. I agree if we'd of had 11 on that pitch we'd have gotten a draw.

I seem to remember it happening alot last season at home. Looking great without creating much, hit with a sucker punch. Not reacting well to it, playing poorly, concede another. Look down and out, get a goal out of nowhere, then start playing again looking for the equaliser. I might be wrong like.

Well where to start there? Attitude was ****e when we went behind even though it was a bad time to concede. Substitutions were questionable, I can only assume Hemir was injured. Ba worked on the left and more effective than Clarke today imo. Gooch added some much needed urgency.

Massively lacking up front, both in creativity from the flanks and in the centre.

Playing Clarke in the middle was a joke.

    Positives:
Jobe showed glimpses of his potential, have a feeling he have a real player on our hands
Thought the subs brought a great attitude n tempo when they came on
1st half was really good, just needed to move it quicker in the final 3rd
Finally we show spirit when we went down to 10 men

    Negatives
Hemir was really poor, this isnt me writing him off but he waa shocking. No work rate at all
Roberts n clarke were just far too predictable n kept looking for free kicks
We are still poor on the defensive transition
Ekwah is wasted as a cdm imo n neil does the job better
Humes sending off is a shocker, no need to make the foul for the 2nd

I know all the chat will be about needing a striker, yes we need 1 of 2 forward players as a minimum. Need more xfactor players in the final 3rd.
We also are crying out for a cdm, will make us harder to counter on

Seems a good lad and probably a good squad player to have but O’Nien cannot be starting games at CB. I hope Seelt is good if we are willing to let Batth go
