Saints already becoming the JB's mk II. Lots of possession but can't finish teams off and then fade whilst letting their opponents get something out of the game.
Watched the game. Southampton looked sharp but how poor were Wednesday? They were given a complete runaround by a tricky and well organised side. The game looked like a typical mismatch between two sides who were 2 leagues apart last season and still looked like it. Very early days, but unless the Xisco Kid can get something much better out of what he's got, they look like very early contenders for the trap door to me.

Good idea. Rather than cluttering this Championship season thread, we'll have a separate one for general stuff in other divisions.
Looks like fun at Ashton Gate. Thirty five minutes gone and not a single attempt either on or off target from either team. Possession 50/50. No corners for either team as well.
