    Warwick 3.00

Surely this must go to either The Pretender or Hindon Road and both are available at 3/1. Evs the pair looks good to me.

RV Jacobs is a poor mans Carberry, who is in turn a poor mans Timmy Murphy, who obviously is a poor mans Ruby Walsh.

Not one of my favourite jocks for sure.

I've liked Daryl Jacob from what I've seen, can you tell I'm a NH novice?! <laugh>

I probably still have a touch of the old 'rose-tinted' going on after he bollocked home on Zarkander at Cheltenham!

    Wor Rom 15/2

This looks quite an interesting one for me, despite the significant drop back in trip looking quite peculiar. Elliot Cooper's 7 year old gelding was a very good staying on 1L defeated 2nd LTO at Cartmel over 30f in a Class 4 event off a mark 97, and he's only been raised 1lb for that effort. Today he gets dropped back to a Class 5 event for the first time since February - his last effort in this grade resulting in a win. He's placed off a mark 104 in the past and his last effort certainly demonstrated to me that he is able to win off a mark like this. Timmy Murphy is a very eye catching booking and it will only be his 3rd time riding for trainer Elliot Cooper. This also represents Cooper's only runner today and he boasts an excellent 50% chasing record at the track. Although the drop back in trip is a slight concern, he won over 2m on his 2nd start. The heavy ground today should hopefully allow Wor Rom to utilise his vast stamina over this 21f trip and I'm pretty sweet on Wor Rom's chances.

    SILVER STIRRUP 3.00 WARIWCK 12/1 E.W (BOG)

I put this one up on Saturday at Uttoxeter for his hurdling debut and he finished last of 14. He had previously shown a little bit of promise in two bumpers 4 months apart and looking at his pedigree and connections surely he is capable of more than he has shown so far. It is interesting to see him turned out so quickly following that poor effort at the weekend and he now has the assistance of AP McCoy as well as a sey of blinkers. I will give him one more chance today
