Biden knows about the reports Trump took home, because he read it among the documents he has in his garage, and others that Hilary past to him when she had a clear out of hers.

Trump's evil for carrying on putting children in the cages Obama built for them.

Trump's a racist for building the wall that Hillary advocated for.

When it comes to stupidest person on this Forum, you must be one of the favourites for the Brain Dead Trophy 2023. You spend most of the day regurgitating utter drivel from your like on Twatter. Why not just spend the day on Twatter commenting on their brain dead discussions and liking their nonsense? You seem to be incapable of reasoned debate and create pages and pages of dross that everyone else has to scroll through.

<doh> YOU were the one that changed the subject from taxation on energy companies to “petroleum tax”. That was why I pointed out the levels of “Fuel Duty” (its actual name). Fuel Duty was supposed to rise by inflation plus six per cent when Gordon Brown changed it in 1999 as an environmental measure but for quite a few years now that rise has been cancelled. If Hunt had not cancelled it in March, the petrol price at the pump would have gone up by as much as 23 per cent, fuelling inflation. That would be nothing to do with energy companies, the taxation of whom was the issue that I originally raised.

You clearly know pretty much nothing about how taxation works in the oil/gas industry or when various tax breaks were introduced and by whom; and your thirty seconds on Google for some links to The Garuniad means that you almost certainly have not read any of them but the headline suited your argument. The first one was from October 2021. The second one is at least from this year and you quote Marxist contributor Richard Murphy. Just like your link to the shoddy BBC article using out-of-date figures, indicative of the declining standards of journalism there as they shed experienced people to meet their inclusivity and diversity objectives.

I could be pedantic and point out that Shell and BP (after Harbour) are not the biggest producers because more than half of North Sea production is in Norwegian and Danish waters. Chrysaor and Total extract more than Shell or BP and Harbour is only largest if you include their Far East operations, which are most of their business.

If I need a remedial dunce, I know where to find you. You still think the collapse of pension funds was down to Truss and Kwarteng because you are too stupid to look at the real cause the day before courtesy of the Bank of England. Ironic that the yield on gilts is worse now than it was then; however, nobody is screaming about it being down to Sunak. You should tweet Rachel Reeves as I am sure she could spin yet another lie about how she is going to create G7 leading growth.

Is RayMacLean your inbred cousin or did he just become stupid enough for you to follow on Twatter?

None of the three front pages in the Andrew Neil tweet are anything to do with the press outside Jeremy Corbyn’s house, so his reply is in no relation to the subject, which is not Greenpeace cretins trespassing on Sunak’s house.

I note that the photograph of the press (allegedly Rabid right wing) shows them all sitting on the public footpath, not actually trespassing on his property, which is within their lawful rights. This could be compared to that total cretin walking the streets around Westminster protesting about Brexit. He seems to be allowed to waste his life in a ridiculous seven year effort funded by hardline Europhiles, who cannot seem to find their way across the Channel to live in their perfect Superstate.

He wins every time he gets called right wing for being right wing for a decade too. Probably spends his holidays in Scarborough building marginally bigger sandcastles than the kids have left behind.

I'm not even going to list the several factual inaccuracies this post is littered with, or even your attacks on the Guardian and Murphy for simply saying things you don't like (without offering any facts or data to contradict them), but I'll just leave this here for you and anybody else reading this to see that statement about Chrysaor and Total being different companies to Harbour. And you accuse me (and for that matter Purkiss, Murphy and the Guardian) of not knowing the facts. Truly, you are the emperor's new clothes of Not 606 and posters should challenge your pompous, factless drivel more often.

But the bottom line about the structural faults in the private pension industry (there because several chancellors had repeatedly asked the industry to buy government bonds) is exactly why Truss was told, both during the leadership campaign and afterwards by her senior Treasury officials -whom she sacked- that if she went ahead with what she was planning what the consequences would be. Either she didn't believe/understand what they were saying, or she and her Tufton St handlers were still so hell-bent on lining the pockets of Tory donors like Crispin Odey that they didn't care about their scorched earth tactics, having factored in that they only had a couple of years of power left anyway and needed to do what they had planned for decades whilst they still had their hands on the wheel - absolutely bum the economy to smithereens, then sit back and count their money.
