He was sacked in the season they were relegated because he had them going so awfully. They didn't win after January in the season they somehow finished 12th.

He also 'achieved' missing out on the title with Young Boys for the only time they didn't win it in 5 years. He's a bang average manager.

He was sacked in the September. I know you won't believe you're wrong but I watched the Bundesliga every week the season they finished 12th and they weren't bad. They overachieved and went on a long winless run. It was a tough gig but he did well.

I can't talk about Young Boys because I didn't watch it and I'm not going to talk about stuff I don't have a clue with, I'll leave that to you.

He was sacked in September because he didn't win a game after January 17th the previous season. <doh>

    You're the one claiming he's a top manager. <laugh>

It's a good job they never had their shooting boots on,they'd have given us a tonking first half?

Anyway, the result stands and essentially we dropped a point, that's all we were getting and if the ref had blown after the 5 minutes we'd have got one.I didn't expect us to go and beat them on their own patch,I 'hoped' for a draw...

Time to move on to our next game and this will give us a better idea of where we're at.Our passing was poor yesterday and we gave away and wasted a fair bit of possession, hopefully that's not going to be a constant feature. We simply can't afford do that next week ,Wednesday have some half decent footballers and could punish us if we're not on our game.

Liam Rosenior needs to decide, fairly quickly,on our best 11,stick with it and tell the players to go out and play with a bit of freedom and less fear.I just think we looked a bit 'scared' yesterday and the opposition picked up on that and dominated for long spells.

Touching on scared,Rosenior looked edgy yesterday(which is a bit odd for the first game of the season), I'm not privy to what he said to the ref but whatever it was,it was sufficient enough to earn him a red card and that's pretty disappointing and unacceptable.

He must lead by example,he preaches that and needs to adhere to it!!

Next week will give us a better idea...UTT!

I've just watched the 14 minutes of highlights
Of course Norwich were well on top but I didnt think the team played too badly

I think I only went in it once.

I always resented it being built.

Be interesting to see who gets minutes against Donny in the cup game. If Simons starts and plays well, he surely has to be in contention for a starting place against Wednesday. Seri and Slater offered **** all defensively against Norwich and next to **** all offensively either.

Likewise, if Allahyar isn’t available, Lokilo could make a case for himself.

Why no Var? Even the portuguese second league will have var this season.

We deserved nothing from this game but that ball was clearly out of play.

I honestly think VAR would have showed it still in.

Fair enough, but then with VAR, they'd have had a penalty.

Yeah, once you rotate it round so you’re looking directly down the byline rather than from an angle. There’s more space between the goal posts on the full photo than there is between the ball and the line. The ball is also off the ground making that gap appear bigger.

    Almost the perfect away day.

Counter attacking goal (an ant’s pube away from a second)

    Should have had a pen.

    Rode our luck throughout.

Unlucky with the goal at the end.

    Pretty exciting game.

    Go again next game.

I dont know how they expect VAR to solve that as well. Hawkeye doesn't extend down the goal line. At best you're asking 3 refs in a booth somewhere to start drawing lines and it would be close and they'd just go with what the ref decided anyway

They do that thing with the computer generated image to see if the ball crossed the line or not don’t they. To be honest as someone who uses CAD daily at work it wouldn’t be that difficult to set something up that would take the image from a fixed camera location and give a full 360 degree 3D view.

You could do that math from that image using the angles to confirm if the ball was in our out if you were that bothered.

I've seen them use it in a post match analysis but never quick enough in a live game at least from my memory
