it isn't just the right side anymore though the new tactics make that problem worse imo .I just want Trent playing as an attacking RB not CM not as a 10 not as RW plus the high line is dodgy now VVD has had his pace removed..Plus we have no DM to protect the back line. I know i'm hiding it well but i'm a tad nervous for the early part of the season
I’ll be honest, I think you guys have lost your fear factor at the moment. I think most teams no longer fear Liverpool visiting them at home. Granted I think at Anfield your a different animal. Personally think Klopp is past his use by date. But we’ll see, yous will go on some insane run to prove me wrong no doubt
That’s a bit harsh! They actually had a very strong second half of the season last year. Their midfield is also going to be stronger this year with the smart acquisitions that they’ve made. But I agree with Saff that the defence will most likely leak more goals this year than yesterday years.
Not really , our first 2 home games are villa then Liverpool and I’m more concerned about us dealing with villa than I am Liverpool to be honest.
I think you’ve got a decent chance of winning the league. If it’s not City it will be you. Not having champions league footy has to give you an advantage.
With us it could be anything for a bloody relegation dog scrap to challenging. I just don’t see city winning 4 on the bounce for some reason which then opens it up and none of the teams around them are that much stronger than the others. All the teams around City once you chip away from the starting 11 aren’t great shakes.
not without signings .Right now we are going into the season with 6 first team midfielders one of whom is injured and the other (Bajcetic) isn't in full training having missed the 2nd half of last season
No team who played in the europa league from the start (I.e. not dropped into it from the CL) has won the premier league. Best lowest place previous finish was Chelsea finish 10th one year, winners the next. They had no European football whatsoever though. No team simply plays reserves in the EL, it doesn't happen. It's a massive burden. Ergo, fifth to 1st is a big ask. Especially with a completely new midfield.
i'm not the one talking about us coming first i will be pleased if we make top 4 and to do that our forward line needs to fire .

It'll give a better idea of both teams thinking for the first game of the season. If Arsenal start with Trossard up top then he could come into the thinking. KDB has had fitness issues so interested to see how he looks and if the status with Foden.
Have Arsenal not got any actual strikers fit? Could be a good shout that, if Trossard is filling in as he's a midfielder in FF. My experience of De Bruyne in FF last season was he's hot and cold. Didn't really consider him this year.
Nketiah is a striker but I feel that he didn't take his chance last season and it'll be Havertz or Trossard in GW1. KDB is a bit cheaper this season but like you say hot and cold, I'm keeping an eye.
Dropped Foden, won't be adding KDB. Pep reminding us all that he's a ****ing bellend when it comes to FPL.
