You do realise that Celtic have cuffed us every time we've played them. Not to mention their successful European competition runs, including being the first British club to win the European Cup. Totally overshadows us. FFS, Even Partick Thistle have a 100% record against us. So I'd hold fire with the pub league comments, in case somehow we end up in Euro competitions & get cuffed by them again. Time to wind your neck in.
Probably one of the great failings of some Leeds fans. Us auld lads remember how good we were when we were good and some believe we’re still that step above. Difference is Celtic are still competing in cl nearly every season, we’ll never play in it again sadly ok we’ll have numerous more owners who will bullshit the fans about top eight football and 55k capacity stadiums. We're capable of being a top half PL team but being in Europe again is unlikely as you say. As it stands though we're a level below the PL so the fightback starts now.
Perhaps to clarify. I'd much rather be disappointed by our team in the PL than be utterly dismayed by them in the Championship.
