Story going around that Corberan is on the verge of walking. He was sent off today but he’s gutted that he has no money and can’t sign the players he wanted. This isn’t the job he signed up for?……..
Wondering have our new signings got the free loan thing built into their contracts in event of relegation. Surely we’ve learned
Watched Boro v Wall earlier which ended up with a 1-0 away win. Boro dominated possession (68%) but without really creating anything of note as they lacked ideas and craft in the final third. Millwall sat in and then hit them on the break to snatch the winner, which whilst against the run of play was not unexpected given they should have taken the lead earlier. Probably 2 top 10 teams but both well short of the standard shown by Southampton last night.
Yep that's what we need to avoid. Sinisterra, Summerville, Gnonto and Dan James should help with that.
A poor deal if or when it happens. That’s what we paid for him. Given his performances for ud and man of the match USA ones, he’s worth treble that nut once again a ridiculous contracr
Lewis O’Brian the player we could and should have bought a couple of years ago is available. DC United want him back and Sheff Utd want him too. Forest say £10m will do it
My understanding is that his relegation clause is £22m/€25m and all paid up front. Once an official bid has been recieved we could see a bidding war. Just in England alone WHU with money to burn need to replace Rice, Newcastle, Liverpool, Brighton and plenty more in Europe. If he goes we will get cash for a change, but your right he’s worth double if we were still in the prem
Let's hope he goes to the highest bidder and not the club who offers the least but the highest wages.
The bidding war won't be on the transfer fee though. It will be on his wages. Clubs only have to activate the release clause and we have to agree to the fee.
