It's hard to have consistent attacking output when your attacking players are consistently unavailable.
Well he had one unavailable today and his attacking substitute esrly was to bring Christie on for Adama (our most creative player) leaving on Vaughan who was entirely out of his depth.
He’s had all summer to rectify it. He’s had all summer to bring in a defensive midfielder which would protect the defence more and give the creative midfielders more freedom. He’s done next to **** all. He went on TalkSport and said we don’t need a defensive mid because he thinks Seri and Slater are good enough to win the ball back. His ego as a coach isn’t warranted at all given he’s achieved so little.
Traore is clearly still being worked up to full fitness. Id also suspect there'll be another wide player or two coming in, but no one was complaining about Vaughans inclusion based on past and recent form when the lineup was announced - yeah he struggled but look at what he was up against.
Thats really not the issue. It's fine to be optimistic, and it's fair to say that Rosenior has improved us from the mess we where at the start of last season. But there is a clear problem with how we build attacks and thats a view based over a long period of time now with many different players.
I don't think he's doing the negotiations and he certainly isn't in charge of when other clubs are prepared to release the players he's expecting to be made available from clubs higher in the chain. When you make an offer for a house do you expect to move in the next day?
Ask Gab Sutton or Acun. Or alternatively you have the option to disprove it from game day 19. There's sites you can do that on.
I didn't. Ant Northgraves, Gab Sutton and the club have though. I just repeated it on here based on *** packet maths putting us in that ballpark. The claim has been made by bigger stattos than me. Disprove it.
You literally did say it. Rosenior took us from worst defensive record in all 4 leagues to 4th best in the championship in his 28 games; from relegation certs to 9th best overall points total in the division over the same period, so I don't feel my confidence is misplaced in his ability.
Yep. Based on others who I'd expect to know better than you or I. I did do the points total thing myself with a few games to go though and at one point before we lost our forwards we were 8th on form under Rosenior with about 10 games to go.
yanno what I’ve gone through it again, Tufan, Traore and Seri where absolutely miles away today. Slater was garb but I don’t hold him to their standard. Coyle was probably the least of the problems, Vinagre not what I’d have expected to, have to question management for me.
We are absolutely miles away and our manager has no idea on how to play to our strengths. He tries a game that works with top sides with huge budgets, we need someone like Edwards who understands the limitations and mitigates them.
