At least one of Adams and Tella will leave (if not both) and Armstrong is atrocious. If you don't create many chances then you won't score goals.
If Vardy can stay fit he'll piss top scorer, not many decent finishers in this league, most teams will need to spread the goals through the team
I’ve had a great night. Went out to watch the match and made a new mate called Alan. An 87 year old self confessed scally who never had a job in his life. He’s got dementia. Showed me some amazing photos and told me a couple of fascinating stories. I’ve been well and truly humbled. Unexpected nights are always the best. Someone remind me tomorrow to repeat one of his stories. I’m off to bed. Night.
Nah losing play off finalists will do me, always worth celebrating being top of the league though when it's such a rarity. Surely a Spud can sympathise with that Was nice to be able to celebrate a late winner for the first time in about 5 years too.
I thought you looked good. You broke the league record for the number of passes in a game. You'll probably be top 2. Definitely top 4. You and Leicester should piss it really with the squads that you have. Leicester will be a massive failure if they dont hit top 2 after the money they've spent on players.
See I didn't think we were all that really. Lots of possession but didn't really create **** all with it considering our dominance. That pass stat is completely meaningless imo. With all those passes how many chances did we actually create? Making 400 passes in your own half doesn't actually achieve anything. 7th at best I reckon. Need a striker (likely 2 as Che will go, CM and hold on to Alcaraz to have a shot at top two I reckon.
I’ll also add that Sheff Wed are terrible. I knew they’d struggle in this league but on what I seen last night they’re definitely going straight back down. You have a lot of quality in your side for this league. From what I seen of you last night and everyone else last season, you looked a level above.
Yeah I expected more from them too. Albeit the gulf in quality was insanely obvious from very early on in the match. The fact we only created one clear chance against them despite all our possession doesn't bode well.
It was Russell Martin's team that set the British record of most consequtive number of passes leading to a goal (56) while he was at MKD, against... Gillingham https://www.miltonkeynes.co.uk/spor...against-gillingham-tipped-to-win-gong-3216909
